LIST OF SERVICES Pars is committed to resolving client issues and addressing our client’s needs. The responsibility to manage today’s environmental challenges and safeguard public health as well as the environment is shared by all community private sector, government and municipality. To help our clients meet these standards, Pars Consulting Engineers, Inc. has assembled an excellent group of scientists, engineers and technicians, with the necessary expertise and training to provide environmental services for a wide variety of projects. Construction Inspection, Management and Administration Pars Consulting Engineers, Inc. will provide a full time inspector and manger. The inspector will take direction from Clint Construction Manager, who will act as the lead administrative contact for the duration of each project. The inspector tasks shall consist of the following items: Electrical Engineering - Lighting: Low voltage, neon, line voltage, show/theme, fiber optic, signage, airport lighting and signage Environmental Assessment - Hazardous and toxic waste Mechanical & Industrial Engineering - Automated monitoring and controls Pavement Design, Maintenance & Management Systems Our staff’s capability in pavement design, maintenance and pavement management system includes the following types of projects: Planning & Management Studies - Transportation planning and management Preliminary & Final Design - Street and highway design Roadway Management Systems (RMS) Pavement management system, bridge management, culvert management, sign management, maintenance management, pavement marking management, and water and sewer management with GIS interfaces. - Pavement condition survey Traffic Engineering - Planning, geometric design and traffic operations of roads, streets and highways. Traffic & Transportation Studies, Analysis & Data Collection - Traffic volume studies Transportation Engineering - The application of the latest technologies and scientific principles for the planning, functional design, operation, and management of facilities, for any mode of transportation. Transportation Systems Management (TSM) - Application of the latest methods and technologies for increasing the efficiency and capacity of existing facilities and rights of way. (Better use of existing resources rather than planning on major new construction and right of way). Site Development - Each development requires the completion of drainage and traffic studies along with the preliminary and final plat approval process required by each city. Pars Consulting Engineers will design the infrastructure (street, water, sanitary, street lighting, and storm including detention) required for all sites. Quality Assurance and Quality ControlAs in most Q/A and Q/C plans, planning, organizing, coordination, controlling, documentation, and retention play a very important role. As part of our quality control Pars Consulting Engineers will hold project-planning meetings, weekly project meetings, and make sure all design and computation are checked. Pars Consulting Engineers are committed to providing high quality engineering services, excellence from start to finish to our client. To accomplish this goal, we will rely on a system of both internal and external checks and balances. Dr. Rafie Hamidpour, Ph.S., D.E. DABFEIn 1997, Dr. Rafie Hamidpour earned a doctorate and served as a director and professor at a local Midwest college. During this time, Dr. Hamidpour has compiled two books. In 1997, he received his first certificate of registration from the United States Library of Congress, and in 2001, he received his second. During, 1996 Dr. Hamidpour started Pars Consulting Engineer where he currently serves as President and CEO. Dr. Hamidpour's vision to research medical treatments is the foundation for Pars Bioscience, LLC. |

Construction Inspection, Management and Administration85th Bridge and Troost Ave. - 2008" ---Construction Inspection and Construction Management of the Troost Ave bridge replacement, 85th Street access ramps, roadway improvement from two to four lanes, including curb, gutter, drainage, MSE walls and bike path. Estimated cost is $7.7 million. Colbern Road Phase III - 2006" ---Colbern Road is a 2-lane asphalt roadway approximately 1.5 miles in length. The scope of services include widening the roadway to 4-lane urban arterial that includes a curb and gutter section with storm sewers, signing, quantities, specifications, erosion control, earthwork, typical sections, right-of-ways plans and tract maps. This project was designed to APWA, MoDOT and ASSHTO requirements. Pars Consulting Engineers was responsible for horizontal and vertical alignment, drainage, earthwork, specifications cost estimate & erosion control planning Construction Inspection, Construction Management of roadway improvements, curb, gutter, drainage and Project Representation for Jackson County Engineer with an estimated cost of $2.66 million. Catch Basin 400 Phase B - 2005" ---Construction Inspection and Construction Management of roadway improvements, curb, gutter, drainage and project representation for the owner with an estimated cost of $1.5 million. Lydia Bridge Over Indian Creek - 2004" ---Construction Inspection and Construction Management of roadway improvements, curb, gutter, drainage and project representation for the City of KCMO with an estimated cost of $3.5 million. Electrical Study and DesignNational Institutes of Health (NIH) - Current until 2009" ---Pars Consulting Engineers, Inc were contracted by National Institute of Health to provide an Electrical Study, Short Circuit Analysis and Arc Flash Calculation for total of 42 buildings at their Bethesda campus in Maryland. General Services Administration - 2008" ---Pars Consulting Engineers, Inc were contracted by General Services Administration to provide electrical study, lightening and grounding for one of their buildings. The potential for losses due to equipment damage, business interruptions and personal injury caused by lightning can be a huge expense for companies. However, a properly installed lightning protection system can minimize this threat to your business. In Florida, all government buildings, schools, hospitals, airports, prisons and assisted living facilities are required by law to have a lightning protection system in order to protect the structure from the destructive forces of lightning...shouldn't you do the same? We were hired to conduct topography survey, write legal descriptions, and prepare final plans for MoDOT STP funding. Cost was $2,500,000. Design completed May 2005 estimated engineering construction cost was $6,500,000. Avenida De Cesar Chavez Streetscape - 2004" ---Removed and replaced curb, gutter, pavement marking, sidewalks, added handicap ramps, raised median, quantities, specs and cost estimate. Project delayed due to funding issues and scope changes. Cost was $700,000. Intersection of Prospect & Gregory - 2004" Intersection of Independence & Hardesty - 2004" Harry Truman Drive Extension 125th St. to Crystal Ave - 2004" ---Pars Engineers has designed a two-lane Minor Arterial for Jackson County Public Works in the City of Grandview, MO. Project included designing a new asphalt roadway on new alignment approximately 4100 L.F., which includes a 28 foot curb and gutter section, storm sewers, signing, pavement marking, right of way plans, traffic control plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Complete design project included survey, design, specifications, right-of-way and easements. Cost was $2,200,000. 155th St. Bridge over Lumpkins Fork Creek - 2002" ---Project includes a watershed study and design of a small bridge replacement and associated roadway improvements for a rural arterial roadway in the far SE corner of Kansas City, Missouri. This bridge will be replaced by either a single concrete arch culvert or a double concrete box culvert. Hydrology and hydraulics were performed using TR-55 methods and HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS software.
